Points For Consideration

  • 'With that first drawn breath, the Word has become flesh' - The Word became flesh at conception, not birth. This potentially contradicts Luke 1:43-44.

Points For Consideration

  • "I'll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross" - some may consider this odd, as we're told a lot about the cost of sin in Scripture, but it could charitably be read as wonder.

Points For Consideration

  • 'From glory to glory, our Saviour reigns' - technically, this is misapplying 2 Corinthians 3:18, which is about the transformation of believers becoming more like Him.

Points For Consideration

  • Do you believe God's glory is 'hidden in creation'? This may just be imprecise or poetic, but Romans 1:20 appears to suggest the opposite.
  • 'You didn't want Heaven without us'. Do you think this implies that God 'needs' us or is incomplete in some way, rather than desiring our redemption?
